Kaspersky 6 repair instructions

Before you begin, if you have installed any other Anti-Virus product in the meantime, please uninstall this and restart your computer.

 

Please follow the steps below to repair Kaspersky 6 :

1. Download a fresh copy of the Kaspersky Anti Virus installer from http://downloads.nihome.netintelligence.com/NIAntiVirus6.exe.
2. Perform an uninstall of your existing Kaspersky 6, by clicking Start > Programs > Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Workstations > Modify, Repair or Remove.
   
   
3. Click the 'Remove' button and follow the instructions given by the installation wizard, choosing a Complete uninstall. Reboot your PC when prompted.
   
4. When your PC has restarted, reinstall Kaspersky 6 using the installer from above (step 1). Double-click the file to run it and follow the instructions given by the installation wizard. Reboot your PC again when prompted.
5. Your Kaspersky Anti-Virus is now restored to its original working condition.
